Clearly the person decorating this building did not experience what I am feeling right now: the "burrito slow down" -- a condition in which all cognitive and physiological processes downshift and run at half time so that your body can dedicate the other half of its attention to digesting your Chipotle burrito.
While the noon-time burrito slowdown can be remedied, at least in part, with caffeine; it is much harder to medicate a nighttime burrito slowdown. My solution is a hot cup o' chamomile tea and then give in to the call of sleep.
Unless perhaps you're still freaked out by the Christmas in July theme going on in the photo. It's 4th of July meets Christmas. I'm generally all for the secularization of Christmas, but not when it means we just turn the channel from religion to nationalism.

Is it just me or is this decoration infinitely better in the top photo (looks like a single facade) than in the bottom photo (over applied on all sides)?
I hadn't seen the patriotic christmas thing except in white house ornaments and Kat's 2001 (post 911) etched glass ornament.
